Good God, I just put my name down for the [livejournal.com profile] picfor1000 writing challenge. I never do challenges because I'm not sure that inspiration will strike long enough for me to complete an actual story.

What was I thinking???

I'm hoping it will inspire some creative juices. Lord knows the well has been rather dry of late. Maybe this will get it going again.

OMG me too. Only I have never managed to produce anything that long that's coherant. On the other hand, I comfort myself with the knowledge that no-one's depending on me for results - it's a personal thing, really. And I have some tentative ideas, so hopefully all will be well. *slight apprehension tinged with hope*

I'm wibbling over signing up for that, myself. It's the whole "omg 1000 words exactly!!" thing that's holding me back. I'll probably decide to do it anyway.

I know I'm going to have problems with the word count. I'll be either way over or way under. Maybe this will help to develop a bit of writing discipline.
