My arm feels like it's about to drop off from the typhoid/HepA/HepB shots I had today, and the pizza shop was prepared to quibble because my order was ten cents under their $10.00 minimum for home delivery :~\

And in other fun news, my brother is about to go into hospital for a major operation and work sucked so badly today that I was practically in tears by the time I left.

This is why I need the pizza, godammit!

But I've nearly finished the application for the job I found in Canberra, and tomorrow is Friday so the weekend is nearly here. Also, next week we have a public holiday so I only have to deal with work for four days instead of five.

Am I there yet?

Order a can of coke to make up the min $10 thing. That's what I always do... when I'm not ordering their 2 large pizza, garlic bread and 1.25L coke deal. I end up being sick of pizza for a month after that seeing as those 2 pizzas lasted me for 4 days.

So glad tomorrow's friday! Weather sucks, but it's FRIDAY! Almost had a panic attack when I thought today was only Wed. *sigh*

I was ten cents short even after I'd ordered the large bottle of coke. Fortunately they saw the silliness of their argument. And I was happy to pay the extra ten cents. Gawd!

So yes! PIZZA!!

And urgh! 35 tomorrow, 33 Sat and freakin' 41 on Sun! Then it drops down to a nice 28 on Monday when there's work and no fun could be had. :( And the last 3 days have had PERFECT weather! So not fair! :(

Hope your brother's op goes well, and good luck with the job application!

And yay for a four-day week. I have a four-day week next week, too (in fact, this week is my only five-day one so far this year), but only because we need to take the cats to the vet and Judy says she can't do it on her own.

For some reason I could cope moving to Canberra. Sydney doesn't do it for me, but Canberra isn't too bad. And at least I'd know one person living there *g*
