They Say What They Say

I just submitted my last assignment for the semester.

OMG, I'm free!

Well, at least for the next four weeks until second semester starts :~\

I tell you, though, I'm pretty much over this part-time study thing. In fact, I'm pretty much over studying full stop. I've spent the better part of my life in one educational institution of another, and, well, that's a lot of education for one person. And I'm not sure how much good any of it has really done for me. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

C was asking me today about what I was going to do next. He said something about me studying until the day I die, which might have once been true, but quite frankly I think this is it for me and school. I've had enough. More than enough. I don't need a PhD to get where I want to go, wherever that is, so once I've completed the two subjects I need to get my masters, that is it. No more school for this little black duck. I've got better things to do with my time and money.

Anyway, tomorrow I have a genuine day off. I have no essays to write and I'm not sick. I can sleep in and sit on the couch all day in my pyjamas if I want to. Not that I will, but the option is there if I wish to take it.
