Ben Browder was on CSI Miami last night. Mmm, Mr Gorgeous, as my friend A calls him (even though he did end up being the bad guy.) And then Jayne Brook turned up on Without A Trace and of course Angel started again for the season. Lots o' good TV for a change.

I'm still on my due South thing. As a result I've been watching movies with Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie in them so I can hear their voices as I read (it's a thing, don't ask.) Men with Brooms which PG wrote/directed/starred in/wrote music for (is there anything that man can't do?) is a surprisingly sweet movie. I was gearing up for it to be really cheesy but it won me over. I'm currently watching Tales of the City (once again with PG) and I've got Memento (featuring CKR) waiting in the wings. Ah, the joy (and pain) of exploring a new obsession!

Ben Browder wasn't still wearing Crichton's leather trousers, was he?

Ever hopeful.

No, and he had very un-Crichton hair. All floppy.

Oh. *Disappointed*

I'd have to see it to decide for sure, but that doesn't sound too good. Although we survived Crichton's fake beard in a couple of episodes ...

Floppy hair seldom good. We're getting reruns of 3rd season Six Feet Under here, and even though I've seen it before, Domestic!Nate's hair's still a bit of a shock to the system.

Although I'm rather fond of Baby Josh's floppy hair, but that can just be put down to temporary loss of sanity.

Nothing that I know of, other than maybe not getting caught for drunk-driving in a parking lot. }:-)

I was gearing up for it to be really cheesy but it won me over.

It did that to me, too.

PG's Tales of the City character is kind of sleazy and weird -- of course, the whole series is unusual, albeit good -- but worth watching anyway. (And TotC is still a hell of a lot less weird than Cold Comfort. Ick.) Also, I think Memento would be excellent even without CKR.

Yeah, I noticed that, but then I watched a little this morning while I ate breakfast and there was this one scene that said not so much sleazy and weird as world-weary and disollusioned.

I think Memento would be excellent even without CKR

I saw Memento last year and enjoyed it. Now I'll enjoy it even more ;~)
