The thing I hate about discovering a new fandom. The one thing that really gets to me. It's the wading through all the crap to get to the good stuff. Now with Sports Night I was lucky. It's a small community to begin with and most of the people who have written/are writing in it are very good writers indeed. Quite a rarity and one I greatly appreciate. With other fandoms, not so much. Crap, crap, crap, crap, ooo, shiny gem, crap crap crap...
You get the picture.
Jeez I've got a headache.

Nearly all the good stuff's slash;
Nearly all the not-so-good stuff's het.
Which suits me just fine.
My headache sends your headache its love. I've just walked into a doorframe and I can no longer type. Which is sad, as it's about the only thing I can do, usually.

You're quite right.

Dancing on Glass - the Chpt 5 is a tearjerker? Oh, man.
I should view this in a positive light and see it as good motivation for why I should work while I'm at work, instead of sitting around and reading Chpt 4. I don't want to end up bawling at work. (Not that I'm much of a bawler. But, it's better if I don't have to do that 'escape quickly to the bathroom to stop sniffling' thing. *g*)
