we going for a bus ride!

My pooter seems to be okay, but just to be safe I burned the important stuff to CD today so I don't have to spend squillions of dollars to get a computer boffin to retrieve it from my hard drive if it does fall over. At least LJ is behaving for me now, otherwise my paranoia would be rampant!

Somehow I managed to say yes to attending my sister's brother-in-law's son's third (fourth?) birthday with her the weekend after next. Her husband is going to be interstate for a conference that day and she didn't feel up to dealing with all of his relatives on her own. And since I get along fairly well with his sisters, she figured I should go with her so she has at least one person to whom she's married and/or related to back her up. I just hope they have choklit crackles and fairy bread.

My nephew is obsessed with public transport. Every time I visit I have to take him for a ride on the bus. We got on at the stop at the end of his street and ride around until it's heading back into town and get off again. And while we're out, if we see a digger or a witch's hat or a fire engine, then it's the best thing in the world! Ah, to be two and so easily amused.

I have five working days to go until I'm on holiday for two weeks, and I cannot wait!

*is impatient*

LJ was doing odd things to me on the same day as it was doing odd things to you - I think you can cross that one of your 'things that could be wrong with my pooter' list.

Choklit crackles - mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

4 working days until half-term. Yay! holidays.

Much better now - in fact he's trying to run before he can walk (bad, bad pun, I know) - he keeps saying he can go back to work. Whereupon I point out that he's only OK because he's on whacking great painkillers and he'll do himself more damage if he fails to pay attention to doctor's instructions. Then I do my teacher stare. It seems to work.

You'll just have to make your own crackles. *wants*
