walking the walk
Somebody please tell me that Gibbs loses the moustache sometime soon. I love NCIS, but the sheer cheesiness of the moustache is almost excruciating. Did he grow it for Movember, or did someone in wardrobe actually think the 70's porn star look was hot?
I spent the day being cleaver with websites at work, fixing up some links pages that will otherwise vanish when they finally get around to decommissioning the old subject pages that have been replaced by the new federated search engine. Then I roved at an Endnote class, and topped the day off by getting my gym program redone.
Despite all that it was a rather blah day, the only highlight being the protracted email discussion my sister and I had about the cake we're making for the nephew for his birthday on Saturday. We decided to go with the easy to assemble fire engine, rather than the more complicated to pipe puss-in-boots. Anything else was too much to think about. I'm also making white chocolate crackles, and I may even make some cupcakes as well. Now I just have to work out what to wear.

phineasjones' paean to the man himself: Callum Keith Rennie; A Post for the Clueless by a relative Newbie for some delighful 'OMG, he so teh hot!' squee. And c_regalis is encouraging all good fangirls to band together to help Callum get his own star on the Canadian Walk of Fame. The details are in her journal, only you've got to ask; how would this notoriously shy actor react if he did end up on the walk of fame? I'm sure he'd keel over from all the attention.
The dancesport championships are on Channel Seven at the moment. All the women are unnaturally blonde and tan, and the guys are wearing shirts that make them look like pimps. It's so trashy I can't stop watching.
*attempts to tear self away from the trash to do the dishes*

It comes to something when Australia beats us to it. (Which is not a reflection on Australia - before someone takes offence - just Australian TV, of which I have heard a lot, none of it good.)
