what we do when we can't be botherd

When I got to work yesterday, I was informed that I looked terrible and that I should go home. Forty-five minutes later I did just that. Seems my little virus has developed into a secondary chest infection. At least that's what the doctor said, and it explains why I still feel like crap. I took his word for it, and the certificate that gave me yesterday and today off as well.

Of course instead of staying home and resting like I probably should have, I spent most of the afternoon dithering in fabric shops as I tried to chose some material to make a dress for my birthday. But I couldn't find one thing that I really liked (or could afford) so I ended up coming home empty handed. Not sure what I'm going to do now. I'll probably end up buying something, but I haven't got that much time to shop, what with work and homework that needs to be done and the like. A dress miracle would be very nice right about now.

As usual I have a pile of dishes and no enthusiasm when it comes to actually doing something about them. In my next life, a dishwasher is compulsory. But I have watched all of season three of Farscape and have just started on season four, so the last few days haven't and entire bust. Damn, Ben Browder is a good looking guy!

*hugs you* Feel better! I'm sure the dishes can wait a little longer, right?

I just did about half of them. I had run out of cups and bowls so it was kind of necessary for doing the breakfast thing in the morning. I really hate doing the diahes :~\

I'm sorry you're feeling poorly. And that area fabric shots have let you down. Hanging out on the couch watching tv sounds just right for today though. Feel better soon!

Eh...Make that fabric SHOPS not shots. But, doing a few shots while hanging out on the couch might not be a bad idea either.

BUY PAPER PLATES!

I knew what you meant. And yes, paper plates might be the way to go. Anything to save me from having to do the dishes. I can even recycle them when I'm done!

Ben Browder is very hot. When that top 10 people you would shag thing was going around, the only other person I could think of, besides weeJosh, was Ben Browder. (Actually, I did better with women, what with Claudia Black, and all the girls from Firefly, and Sandra Oh.)

I'm sorry you're poorly. Get lots of rest, and trust in the frock fairies.

I think it's Ben's Southern accent that does it for me. So very different to anything you hear coming out of the mouths of Australian guys. And he's such a big dork, you've got to love him for that.

I'm feeling much better thanks to the magikal powers of antibiotics, but I'll be very glad when it's the weekend, which won't be until Sunday for me :~\

I put a lot of the hottness down to his leather trousers, but, actually, he looks pretty good in the combats he wears in the first few episodes, too. In fact, the only time he looks bad is in the episode where he wears the ridiculous false beard.

I am going to have to do something to the rotation of the earth so that Sunday can come soon for you while still staying a good long way away for me.
