I'd been playing around with rich text and it only saved a few lines and I coudn't be bothered redoing it. I'd inlcuded a picture of Dan and everything!

Woe. I could do with pictures of Dan. I'm Home Alone this weekend, and I'm already bored. But I don't think I can be bothered to go out.

Try using a client? I started using one after the last time LJ changed the posting page layout and never looked back. With the right client, you can even compose posts offline and post it later.

I was at work so I can't really download a client onto my PC there. I think it happened because I'd started writing the post in HTML, switched to rich text and then switched back to HTML. The poor update box couldn't cope with it all!
