They Say What They Say

1. All of Casey's towels are green. When he and Lisa were first married they had green towels because it was the only colour that went with the ugly tiles in their bathroom. Lisa, however, hates green and when they got divorced Casey inherited the green towels. Now he always buys green towels just because he knows it will annoy Lisa whenever she has to use his bathroom.

2. When he goes out for dinner Casey always orders beer or spirits because he feels uncomfortable ordering wine. Not because he doesn't enjoy drinking wine, because he does, it's just that he doesn't get things like grape varieties and vintages and the difference between a shiraz and a cabernet. Dan, on the other hand, seems to know more than is necessary about wine so whenever they dine out together Casey always makes him order the drinks.

3. When he was three, Casey's favourite colour was pink because that was his big sister's favourite colour and at three, his big sister was also his best friend. His mom, however, drew the line at letting him paint his room pink because that was really taking the whole thing a bit too far.
