Oh wise and gentle flist, come someone give me the name of one of an American clothing chain store that caters to girls in the 15-25 age bracket. Some place where you can get both casual and 'career' wear and preferably a chain that'd be well known in the NYC area. I need it for a fic.

I'm not in the NYC area, but Old Navy is a chain store that seems to target girls in that age bracket. They mostly sell casual stuff, but there's a small career-type section in the stores I've seen.

Hee, thanks for that. The only big American chain store that I know about is Gap and I wasn't sure if it would stock the sort of clothing I have in mind.

Totally Old Navy. (www.oldnavy.com) Somewhat the Gap, but definitely Old Navy.

Yup, Old Navy was my first thought, too.

Also, possibly American Eagle Outfitters (ae.com), but they're not really business appropriate, and probably more uber-trendy to the younger half of the age bracket. If that helps.
