You would think that someone who had given as much joy to the world as Pavarotti would be entitled to enjoy a long and peaceful retirement. But no, that's not the way god works. Apparently life is supposed to suck for everyone.

At least he got to see 73. This guy I used to work with in SpC died from cancer on Wednesday. He was 52 and only found out that he was sick in July.
