I was trying to find a candid of him smiling, but he hardly ever seems to smile when it's not for official publicity purposes. which is a pity because he has such a nice smile.
Mallomars are manna from the gods! They are my favorite cookies, but because they melt when transported, they are only available during certain times of the year.
I think they are meant to be like s'mores, except that I like Mallomars better. They have a graham cracker cookie on the bottom with marshmallow on top of that and it is all covered in chocolate. I found a link to Nabisco's site here. That should give you an idea of what they are like. I like eating the bottom first, and then eating the marshmallow/chocolate part after.
They sound like our Chocolate Royals (http://www.aussieproducts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=ARCR20) which are a biscuit/marshmallow/chocolate combo. Very yummy and, fortunately, available all year round!
That looks exactly like a Mallomar, except that our are covered with "pure chocolate" which is their way of saying dark.
S'mores are a camping institution. You take a marshmallow, put it on a stick over a fire, when it is all toasty, you place it on a graham cracker with a piece of chocolate and then make a sandwich by covering it with another graham cracker. Something like this.
They are so named because you always ask for "s'more".
How funny that his so closely follows CKR's! I don't intend ever to bear children, but if I did, I'd like for them to be born around that time to get whatever sexiness gene floats around then.

I join loudly in the singing, and send Mallowmars (if I can find them, I looked yesterday, and they weren't around- they are seasonal you know).

Now I am craving them again.

I am sure that Ray made them for Fraser.
