blown away and away

Huh, daylight savings started last night. I had no idea.

Today is so windy, it is so windy that I'm wondering if the washing I put on the line will have flown away to Bendigo by now.

Yesterday I failed in my mission to buy a dress and the third season of Angel, largely because they were sold out at the places I went to look for them. Today I am hoping for more success, even though it means driving to Northland.

Of course this would also mean that I have to tear myself away from looking at pictures of Jared and Jensen on the interwebs and that's proving more difficult than I initially thought.

OMG, the wind! I originally had the windows etc open to let in some cool air cos heck, it's been hot. But the dust/pollen etc kept getting blown in and my eyes kept itching like hell from it all. I gave up, shut all the windows and turned on the air-con instead.

God, I hate spring.

When I left to go to Northland, I had to spend ten minutes clearing the driveway of all the fronds that fallen off the big palm tree in our front yard. Those things are prickly!

Northland? That is desperation!

Sydney, where I am now isn't windy but it is hot, I don't know which is worse.

It was either Northland or Chadstone, and I didn't have enough energy for Chaddy.

It's both warm and windy here. Not a good combination at all.

Ohhhhhh, I live just near Northland, we could have met up for coffee or something. But I agree, tearing yourself away from Jen and Jared is a hard ask, and I wouldn't want you do that on my account:-)

I'm home now and should be cleaning, but the Js are so tempting!

Next time I'm thinking of popping up to Northland on the weekend I'll let you know and we can do coffee!
