They Say What They Say

Thank you so much to anonymous who gave me the teddy bear hugs in my user info. It was exactly the thing I needed to find in my in-box this morning.

But on, to the exciting news. Date guy did reschedule and we went out tonight! It was a really nice evening. We went to see Control at the Nova, not a movie that would instantly stand out as the ideal date movie, but it was very interesting and we both really enjoyed it. Before the movie we popped down to the University Hotel for a drink, and afterwards we went up to one of the cafes in Lygon street for pizza and beer. We talked until they started closing the restaurant down, then he drove me back to my car and bid me good night with a kiss!

I had a really nice time. I'm not sure we'll be going out again, but he was good company and it was a date, people, a date! I haven't been on a date in so long I'd almost forgotten what it was like. And I needed something nice to happen after all the angst I caused myself last night.

Now I need to go to bed, because it is a school night and one has to go to work in the morning, doesn't one?
