I'm in Perth!

I've taken over C's laptop to update quickly. The flight over was a little turbulent, but now that I'm here the weather is just gorgeous and I've already dragged C out to the Maritime museum and then to have fish and chips on Cottesloe beach. Tomorrow I'm amusing myself and may try and make my way out to the beach again on the bus, and on Wednesday and Thursday I'm playing with friend K who is also out here at the moment. I believe a visit to the zoo is on the cards, which won't be hard considering I'm staying right across the road from it! On Friday I'm going to have lunch with [livejournal.com profile] zebra363, and a trip to the Swan Valley is on the cards for Saturday before it's home sweet home on Sunday.

OMG, so much to do, so little time!

I drive to work, so could either meet you somewhere (South Perth would be easy, city slightly less easy because of parking), or drive both of us somewhere if you come to my building (there are a couple of restaurants right where I work, but they're too expensive for the likes of me!). When you decide what you'll be doing Friday morning, you can let me know what suits.

Sure. In fact, if that turns out to be the day you visit the zoo, I'd be happy to spend some time there - I haven't been for years. Otherwise, there are quite a few restaurants in South Perth, though I'm not too familiar with them - you might ask the friend you're staying with for recommendations!

I noticed a couple of nice looking cafes in Mends st on my way to the ferry today. Or the zoo is good to. C is useless. He just grabs dinner from work and I don't think either of us want to be eating BP sandwiches!
