sn100 challenge #36: Lies

"Are you seeing anyone?" the talk show host asks and you smile and prevaricate like crazy because this is the one question you cannot answer in all honesty.
Later you go home and gaze at the figure curled up in your bed. He's surprised you on a night you don’t normally spend together and there's a tightness in your chest when you realise he didn't even do that much for his wife.
You hate lying, but what can you do? No one said the words 'sleeps with guys' and 'Sports Anchor' was ever a good match, but if the lies don't kill you, eventually your guilt for not telling the truth will.
