I enjoyed this a lot, the honesty and bittersweetness of it and the look at who else they could have been -- different but the same.

Also, in my mind, Natalie doesn't have to stay in the spare room much longer, and Casey becomes the good that Danny takes with him into battle. =o) That doesn't begin to diminish my pleasure in the tale already well told, though.
