Where has the weekend gone? How can it be Sunday already?
I went to the doctor on Friday to try and find out why I've been constantly sick since about July and after poking and prodding me she sent me away with an order for some tests which I was supposed to do yesterday morning. However I ended up going out for drinks after work with H and got a wee bit plastered because I kinda forgot to eat dinner and red wine on an empty stomach is not a good thing.
Yes, I know, I'm old enough to know better, blah blah blah, but I NEVER LEARN and also H has really good taste in wine. I woke up on Saturday morning feeling very ordinary and I didn't think it would be a good thing to turn up to the pathology place with blood alcohol level of a gazillion. I'll get up early tomorrow and go there on my way to work. Hopefully it won't take too long and then I can go find out if I'm just run down of if there really is something wrong.
I know everyone on my flist has already seen it, however it does bear repeating: Jensen Ackles. Eye of the Tiger. \o/
Yesterday I went to buy shoes to wear to my sister's birthday party and failed. Well, when I say failed I just didn't have the $2000 to spend on the four pairs I'd gladly buy from Zomp any day. I'm going to try again today and if nothing happens this time I may give up and go woth something I already own. But new shoes!
I'm not doing the WIP meme because I have no WIPs and I haven't written anything longer than a drabble all year. I suspect that my fanfic writing days are, if not over certainly on indefinite hiatus. And that does make me sad because I love the feeling you get when inspiration carries you away and several hours later you have fic! Hopefully one day this will change but at the moment I have nada /o\

Suck re being sick. Hope some cause is found soon, and it's nothing bad. I had to get some fasting blood tests recently and man, was I hungry by the end of it.
I've been writing a lot recently, but most of it isn't fannish - it's alternately lovely and torturous seeing everyone's WIPs, in that they're so enticing but the stories aren't finished yet. (Blah blah blah, apparently feeling talkative today.)

I'm going in for the tests fairly early so I can pick up something to eat once I'm done. I just hope I can ride my bike up the hill on an empty stomach!

I haven't written much either, but I seem to be doing some art work and have quite a few vids, so I guess I'm still active in fandom, just in another format.
