better than yesterday

I have a house inspection with the landlord tomorrow so my flat is, while not squeaky clean, reasonably presentable. I bought flowers, vacuumed the carpet and folded the laundry, but I'm drawing the line at things like taking the blinds down and giving them a scrub. That's a step too far that I can't be bothered taking and besides, it'd only show up just how shabby the paint on the walls is looking these days.

Is it Supernatural time yet? All day I've been reading the con reports and Oooing and Ahing about how cute the Js are and how Jensen loves chocolate cake and how Jared is a total klutz and now I want my new episode of SPN and I want it now!!!

*pouts*

My computer keeps giving me electrical shocks. I wish it would stop. It's not a very nice thing for it to do.

This week is already better than last week, which was much better than the week before. I have been asked to become M's Godmother when she is christened on Sunday *is proud* and I really do feel like I accomplished a lot today. I'm looking at it as a good sign.

And if next week is better yet, and then the week after that is even better still, who knows where it might end. In fact, I see no reason for it to end at all.

Also, congratulations! I would grump that no-one ever asked me to be a godmother, but neither my brother nor my sister had their children christened and I don't know any other child-bearing persons well enough.

About the only reason why I get to be god mother this time is because one us has to have been christened in the Catholic church, which automatically rules out most of her father's brothers and sisters.
