I had the pleasure of hosting the lovely [livejournal.com profile] jamethiel_bane for a sleepover on Saturday night and we watched the entire first season of Slings & Arrows

OMG I LOVE YOU GEOFFREY TENNANT, I WANT TO MARRY YOU AND HAVE YOUR MANY MANY BABIES!!!!!!!!!!11!!1!1111

*ahem*

Why yes, I did quite enjoy revisiting the series. Very much so. Why do you ask?

Hmmm. I kep thinking about hiring that series, just to have a look. It sounds like a lot of fun, even though I usually don't have any patience for "arty", inspired-artistes types.

One of the best things about this series is that each season consists of only six episodes so it's finished long before it outstays its welcome. Plus Paul Gross is just amazing as Geoffrey!

That's okay. I don't think Slings & Arrows does either. See the character of Darren Nichols. Heh.

I can't remember what my excuse was, but I recently did all three seasons in four days.

It surprises me how many times I can watch the show, not get bored, and see something new each time.

GEOFFREY JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER!

The real question is: are you going to do the other two seasons?

It's been ages since I watch S&A and ironically I had been contemplating pulling it off the shelf a day or so before Jame came over to stay. Lo and behold, she brought it with her! Great minds do think alike *g*

I'm going to try and re-watch the other two season over Easter. That's if I can tear myself away from small children for long enough to do so!
