Ah boo, I was going to have a lazy evening and not do the dishes, but now the electrician is coming over first thing in the morning to look at my oven (again) which means I'm going to have to make some sort of effort and clean up before I go to bed. Bah!
I keep finding random episodes of NCIS that I've taped over the last few weeks, which has been a wonderful way to feed my new found Tony love. Ah, DiNozzo, you are such a dork and I love you for it. When you get all smart-alecky around Gibbs and he smacks you down, the look on your face never fails to make me crack up with glee.

I really should by the DVDs, only I've just decided that, come hell or high water, I'm going to New York in February so I need to save my pennies for airfares and hotel rooms.
OMG, I'm going to New York!
At this point in time there's a good chance that friend H from work is coming with me, which is fantastic because a) having someone to help share the accommodation expenses is a blessing, and b) she visited the US last year and knows how things work. I'm likely cock things up by forgetting to, say, tip someone some day and I just know that my 'But we don't tip in Australia!' excuse won't cut the mustard. Plus, it'll be fun to explore places like the Guggenheim, MOMA and the New York Public Library with a kindred spirit.
