You stole my thunder here! I was going to post the exact same thing. I even stayed up and watched the show on REAL LIVE TV instead of seeking it out on the internet.

I was howling at the beginning with the fangirl bit. I just have to wonder if they're giving us the nod and saying, yeah we hear you and acknowledge your existence, or are they trying to put a leash on us and keep us from getting too out of hand. Like that hasn't happened already, right?

Anyway, the show was great! I'm just aching inside for both boys. It almost seem as if they've reversed their roles. At the very beginning of the series, Sam didn't really have much faith in Dean either. Oh, they just have to mend this quickly and not drag it on all season.

Ok, I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

Whew!

Bit of both I suspect. You've got to hand it to them, though, not many shows would be willing to directly acknowledge the crazy fangirls that keep them going. Most would rather pretend that we didn't exist!

Probably. The first few were funny, but I hope it just sort of ends there. They should know not to feed the crazies too much. Heh!
