My week has been fairly blah. Not unpleasant or anything, just boring. Work continues along apace, mother is doing well for a change and I've made it to gym twice, which is more than I've done in a long time. I have been rather tired, but going to bed at 9.30 last night helped a lot and so far I haven't been rained on as I've ridden my bike home at night. Small victories, eh?
However Supernatural continues to delight even when Sam and Dean are tearing each other apart. It was great to Rufus and Ellen again, and blow me if Jo has moved away from being a whiny little brat and turned into someone you'd trust to save your arse in tight spot. I loved War and thought the Mustang was really neat touch, but I do wish I could project myself into the future and make sure that Bobby's okay. And Sam and Dean. And Castiel, who continues to be fabulous if somewhat intense. I've seen the photos for 5.4. I think I might faint when he turns up unshaven and wearing sandals!
I've also caught up on Castle and might have a look at Eastwick if only for Paul Gross running around being charmingly evol as only Paul Gross can be.
Oh, and apparently Katee Sackhoff wouldn't mind being stranded on a desert island with Callum. Can't say I blame her, really.
And how's this for a small world? Turns out the father of one of my staff is a guy I used to work with at Darebin Libraries over ten years ago. I had no idea until I mentioned to her in passing that I used to be a casual at Preston library and then she went, "Then you must know my dad!" Talk about a blast from the past!
LJ just went weird on me and I thought it had eaten my entire post. It's back now but I've forgotten what else i was going to say. Mustn't have been that important after all.

And woohoo!! Who wouldn't want to be stranded anywhere with Callum?
Have you seen Supernatural episode 3 yet? I don't know how that works with the time zone business and all. I've tried to stop myself from taking peeks at things on the internet, but I did catch a shot of Castiel in jeans and some kind of long coat, not the trench type I don't think, and carrying a weapon of some sort looking all rugged and whatnot. Just yum. Also along that thought line, I've had a week to think about Dean/Castiel and have read many wonder fic, so I think I'm prepared for the worst. Or different, not worst, with seeing less of Sam. Yes, yes, I'm a glass half empty kind of gal, but all the signs point that way.
And another thing, is a different Australian network picking up Supernatural since the current one is dropping the show? I just can't believe that. Aren't there like fangirls rioting in the streets over this? How are you going to keep up with the show? Asks the person who previously only saw ANYthing on dvd.
Finally, did I read a post somewhere that you were planning to visit New York City in the future? If you find yourself in the Philadelphia area, give me a shout and we can do lunch or ice cream or some other such thing.

I doubt channel ten have dropped it. They like to toy with their audience, especially for 'niche' programs like SPN, Dexter and the like by screening them diligently for a couple of weeks then suddenly making them vanish without warning. No wonder Australians are the biggest bunch of DLs in the world! But most Australian TV viewers wouldn't notice. They're too busy watching Law & Order reruns, Australian Idol or (until tomorrow) the football finals.
