Would it be bad of me to spend $500 on a pair of shoes?

As in, $500 is a lot for a pair of shoes, especially when my car need servicing and I still owe about $5000 on my trip to New York.

Grrr, where's the money fairy when I need her?

It depends on whether you have $500 to spare.

And there might be some ethical arguments on top of that.

But mostly, I fear, the answer is 'yes, if it means that you will end up living on the street with nothing to your name but a pair of nice shoes'.

What a grown-up I am these days.

No, I don't have $500 to spare and on the weekend my car was well and truly reminding me that any spare cash I do have really should go toward getting her serviced. Boo!

Wouldn't it be nice to be the sort of person to have $500 to spare? *sigh*

Only if you regret it afterwards!

Sense has kicked in. The shoes are lovely, but I already own more shes that I really need. Except I wants them!
