You know what I hate? I hate it when, after a long period of not reading fanfic, I find one so perfect that I just want everything else that I read in the same fandom to be of similar quality. But most of the aren't so I am invariably let down and I really hate that.

Fanfic is always a bit of a hit-or-miss experience. Um. I guess the not-so-good fics make us all the more grateful for the really good ones?
