Dry

I turn the corner into my street to night to find some workmen digging a hole in it. "Okay, whatever," I think and continue on my merry way.

Only now I don't have any water because obviously they've turned off the water main in order to dig their hole.

I'm not happy. I need to do laundry. I have to water my plants. What if I get thirsty? And what if it need to...go?
