Book meme gakked from kohen1 because I'm a sucker for these things.
I'm doing this at work with books taken from the hold shelf where we keep items from the biomedical library. Therefore do not assume that these books are in any way indicative of my own collection.
1. Take five books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph
Book 1: La circulation du sang à l'état physiologique et dans les maladies by E. J. Marey, 1881. J'ai publie en 1863 un ouvrage intituled: Physiologie médicale de la circulation di san.
Book 2: The Australian Journal of Denistry, v.4, Aug. 1900-July 1901. With reference to that paragraph in which it stated that he had systematically sought to attract practice by the issue of public advertisements of his name, address, appliances, and professional qualifications, he wished to emphasise his statement that he had not exhibited any appliances, or show-cases or anything of that sort.
Book 3: The Australian Journal of Dentistry, v.7 Aug. 1903-July 1904. Mr. Iliffe voted to the chair.
Book 4: A practical treatrise on venereal diseases or, on inoculation, applied to the study of these affections with a therapeutical summary and special formulary by Philippe Ricord, 1842. The whole prepuce had become oedematous, the glans has swelled, and a very painful balano-posthitis existed.

Letters and communications have been received from Mr. Mackin, Geelong; Dr. Earley, Melbourne; Mr. Byass, Warrnambool; Dr. Motherwell, Melbourne; Mr. Gillbee, Melbourne; Mr. Burnside, Collingwood; Mr. Bedford, Hobart Town; Dr. Maund, Melbourne; Alpha; Nemo; and from the Medical Practitioners of Geelong.
