They Say What They Say

I took some stuff to the opp-shop today and as I was leaving I noticed a box of fabric sitting by the door. Since I can't resist a good rummage, I stopped to have a look. Which means I now have six pieces of lovely vintage cotton of various shades and patterns and each one wide enough to make an A-line skirt for the summer. All for the princely sum of $4.00! Six skirts for $4.00. That works out to roughly 67cents a skirt. And the patterns a colours are just beautiful. I think they're all from the fifties and they've probably been sitting in some little old lady's cupboard for the past forty years. All I have to do now is give them a good wash and iron and get sewing. Oh, and find tops to wear with them. *Sigh* shopping for new clothes. What a chore...
