laylee at 01:04pm on 13/09/2004Saw A off at the airport this morning. Wasn't as tearful a departure as I thought it would be. I think we got that out of the way on Saturday and anyway, he was too excited about seeing O again to be unhappy. I met his dad for the first time and he was just lovely. A really nice guy. He'd just bought a new digital camera so he was showing it off and taking some snaps. Very cute! And after A disappeared through the doors he announced he was going back to his car for his library book so he could read while he waited for A's plane to take off. Isn't that sweet?

Finally got around to watching Murder Scene on the weekend. After all the bother I went through to get it, it turned out to be a fairly average thriller with no exceptional twists or turns. But CKR gets heaps of screen time as one of the cops investigating the crime and it was good to see him playing someone who wasn't emotionally damaged or a psychopath or a creep. He looked way cute in his suites, in a charmingly rumpled kind of way, and blue is definitely his colour.
