Every now and then I spend an hour or so faffing around with my journal layout; changing the style, the colours, the fonts, etc. Then I stare at it for a while, make a couple more changes, then I go back to the one I was using anyway.
I don't know why I bother. I like the layout that I've got. It's clean and simple; the muted greys are soothing and they go well with my cat icon. I supposed it just a case of 'the grass might be greener', but really it's not.

In an effort to shed the last few baby weight kilos she's still carrying around, my sister has started Weight Watchers, and I have to say, some of their recipes ain't half bad.
I had a poke around on their website today and tonight I tried grilled lime-chilli chicken (which I ate with a big salad) and tomorrow I'm going to make Asian pork noodle soup for dinner and the baked eggs for breakfast. I'm hoping she sticks to her diet long enough for me to lose a couple of kilos by osmosis. Either way, I've got a few keepers for my full-to-bursting recipe file.
