sn100 challenge #94: Searching.
Title taken from the album Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea by P.J. Harvey.
Dan finds himself in the Comedy section of the video store, clutching a tatty video of some cheesy 80's teen sex comedy. He was sure he was looking for something completely different, but what it was escapes him.
"Hey," Casey says from behind. Dan turns and finds his partner holding up two DVDs.
"X-Men for Charlie and Cape Fear for us. Waddaya think?"
Dan stares at them blankly, trying to think of something witty to say. Nothing comes to him.
Casey's hand lands on his shoulder and squeezes. "Come on," he says gently, "let's go find some popcorn."
