There's this movie featuring Callum Keith Rennie that has come up on eBay twice in the last week and I keep being out bid for it. I think it's fate's way of telling me to stop spending money.

I was going to go to bed, like, an hour ago, but then I discovered
out_there's new Sports Night WIP and I had to read that. Soon, very soon.

I had the worst day on public transport. Everything - buses, trams, trains - was running late. And to add insult to injury I got squished next to a smelly person in the very crowded train I took to uni. I very nearly didn't buy a ticket as a way of protesting the appaling state of our public transport system, but with the day I was having, I'd be sure to run into a ticket inspector the minute I sat down.

Tickets are too expensive!
**hugs**
As for ticket inspectors, it's damn annoying that when you do buy a ticket, they don't check you. It's always when you don't buy a ticket that they appear all around you. *grumble*
BTW, which movie are you referring to there?

Thanks :~)

It's called Murder Scene. Have you seen it?

Joan had a long, complicated explanation of how you could pretty-much guarantee getting anything you bid for on EBay. But I've forgotten it, and it seemed more bother than I was prepared to go for for just about anything. I could probably ask her again, if you wanted.
Public transport sucks here, too. When I stop moping around the house being headachy and finally go back to work, the train that's the only way of getting to my office is out of commission and replaced by a bus this week. So that'll be even more hassle.

No but now button. Whom ever is selling it wants to extract as much as they can. I always do the proxy bid thing, but obiviously there's someone who wants it more than me. The last one went for $45.00 (about 18.00 pounds) and that's not including postage. I'm a fan but not *that* big a fan.

Ours is just getting worse and worse. They put the price of tickets up earlier in the year, but the service has been rapidly declining for ages. I usually ride my bike everywhere, but on Tuesday I have to get the train to uni after work and the last thing I want to do is take a bike on a peak-hour train.

I imagine the rush hour commuters wouldn't be too happy with you bringing your bike on the train, either. I change on to the tube at Victoria, and it's invariably full of tourists - not that I mind tourists, life-blood of the city (she said hastily) - with HUUUUGE rucksacks and those poxy drag-along suitcases. Which really does not make life any easier.
