Apparently my body has decided to revolt against all the gym and yoga stuff that I've been doing this week by developing a scratchy throat, a stuffy nose and a big damn headache.

Great, just what I needed when I've got to finish my metadata exercise and write 2800 words about the National Archives.

Meanwhile I have this urge to go up to Northland shopping centre this after noon and wander around Myer's and K-Mart to see what I can spend my hard-earned, really-should-be-saving-it-for-a-rainy-day-but-I-want-shoes-or and new skirt-more cash on. I do need to buy groceries, and I wouldn't mind buying a new mat for the bathroom because the one I got from Ikea last year is starting to look a little tired (it was only $5.00). So, yeah, I need to got out at some stage anyway. But the spectre of Teh Homework is constantly hanging over my head at the moment and making me feel guilty for having, like, a life or something, which, you know, kinda sucks.

For the moment I think I'll just distract myself by having a nice cup of tea, reading aukestrel's new fic and wating for my laundry to finish.
