So, we finally get to see Rome over here. It's a bit like a cross between I Claudius and Asterix with higher production values and more blood and nudity.
I think I may like it, although I suspect it's going to end up as yet another casualty of channel nein's inability to cultivate decent television programs. They threw The West Wing away, had no idea what to do with Farscape (even though they co-produced it) treated Six Feet Under with contempt and think that trash like "World's Sexiest Porn Star Twins" is good television!

I've been to gym twice this week and am feeling tired yet slightly self-satisfied. I've also made an effort to eat better and ride my bike to work every day. Let's hope my good behaviour lasts. At least until I go out drinking with the boys on Friday *g*
scriggle's most recent Callum picspam has more or less convinced me to buy Lucid on DVD. And I probably will, despite the fact that if my recent job hunting activities are successful I will need all the cash I can lay my hands on to move to Canberra. But how can I deny the power of Callum Keith Rennie? It's almost as impossible as saying no to Paul Gross!
Oh God, so yawny...
