A beautiful, heartbreaking story featuring a very broken Clint and a Coulson who wants to do nothing more than help and protect him, even when Tony insists that they move into the tower with the other Avengers. The whole team is featured and their characterizations are wonderful, especially Tony who just wants to do the right thing by his friends, even if he doesn't always consider the consequences of his actions.

I went to see The Avengers list night and all I can say is WOW!

( Actually, I can say more so I'll cut for spoilers because I know most of you won't have seen it yet )

I am definitely going to see this one on the big screen again, and I would not be at all surprised if I bought the extended DVD version when it comes out for Christmas (as you know it will.) And in the meantime there's all this unread fic to wade through. Having pretty much exhausted the Bucky/Steve stories I've moved onto Clint/Coulson and even Tony/Steve is catching my eye on the odd occasion.

Good grief, I seem to have acquired a new fandom. Eeep!
