It is now officially Christmas Eve in Australia. I have somehow managed to get all my presents wrapped, I've made fruit mince pies and have procured the beans for lunch on Thursday. I feel at a bit of a loss without a mad, last-minute job to do.
I have spent the day feeling vaguely hungover, thanks to the Frangelico nightcap I had at Best Work friend's house last night. However cycling over to Abbotsford convent this afternoon seemed to cure me of it, as did the very large coffee I bought at the bakery when I got there ;~)
I have been sewing like a mad mad sewing thing these last few days and for a while there you could hardly see the carpet in my living room for all the scraps of fabric and cotton. I finally vacuumed it yesterday and you have no idea how satisfying it is to walk into a room that doesn't look like it's part of some sort of backyard sweatshop.
Speaking of home, I got a 'Christmas present' from my real estate agency yesterday in the form of a rent increase letter. Merry Christmas to me, eh :~(
Meh, the powercord on my laptop is on the way out. Looks like I'll be sheeling out for a new one after I get paid. That will be the four cord it's had since I bought it. What's with the power supply on this thing?
It's past midnight and I should go to bed. But I'm on holiday and should take advangte of the fact that I can stay up late and then sleep in in the morning, shouldn't I?
Would it be too much to ask for the SPN fangirls to clam the fuck down and stop giving the rest of fandom a bad name? Yeah, I thought so. *shakes head in wonder*
However Daniel McIvor's latest blog entry is enough to make any fangirl's heart go BOOM \o/
