I'm feeling much better today, even though I still didn't get much sleep last night. However I'm not going to think about that. What I am going to think about is things that make me go squee! To wit...

• The fact that I'm feeling much better today and I didn't get woken up by power saws at 7.30am.

• These pictures of Jared Padalecki arriving in Vancouver after presumably a weekend away. OMG, look at his arms!


• The recent pics of Paul Gross who has been out and about promoting his new series Eastwick, as well as those taken on the set of his new movie Gunless, which he is appearing on screen with Callum Keith Rennie for the first time since Wilby Wonderful.


• The coffee and cake I am about to go and acquire in Station Street

It's 1.30 in the afternoon and I'm still in my PJs. That's not a bad thing, is it?

On my way home from work tonight I saw a truck turn into a train. It was very very cool.

In other news, this just in from Daniel MacIvor's blog is very very happy-making to us C6D fen:

Moving through a re-write on Bruce’s screenplay, once called “45’s” and now called … something else, I’ll keep that under wraps for now. Exciting changes and good work.

I wants it now!

It is finally the weekend in my part of the world, and a long weekend at that. Until yesterday I only had in_the_bottle's fannish get-together on the social agenda, but all of a sudden I'm surprisingly busy. Tomorrow I'm catching up with C for brunch then going shopping with Best Work Friend in the afternoon. Sunday it's the fangirls and on Monday I'm going to Healesville Sanctuary with A&O. At some point in time I want to go to Spotlight to take advantage of their 50% off all sewing patterns sale, plus there's grocery shopping and the ever present housework to deal with. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I have been to gym three times this week. It's the most I've gone since the beginning of November. I am feeling very proud of myself. A little stiff and sore, but mostly proud.

In conclusion; cute boys!

Sorry, the cute boys have been cancelled. Photobucket was taking way too long to load and I lost patience with it. No cute boys today, I'm afraid :~(

I have a bruise on my neck that looks like a hickey thanks to a visit to my acupuncturist yesterday. My shoulder feels a lot better but now it looks like I've been up to certain shenanigans that I can only think wistfully about at the moment. At least my fantasy self is having fun *g*

It's a beautiful day today and I've been for a long ride over to Brunswick on my bike. I was going to stay home and vacuum, but I don' think we're going to get too many more days like this now that March has arrived so I decided to take advantage of the sun while it's still around. Of course my floors still need a good clean, but at least I've had plenty of exercise! While I was out I bought a new pair of thongs (flip flops) to replace the pair that attacked me the other day, and I didn't spend $5 on a DVD of Aspen Extreme at Savers because I don't love Paul Gross that much to spend good money on that piece of claptrap. Now I'm sitting on the couch watching a Frank Sinatra movie, drinking coffee and eating muffins. Wholemeal apple and walnut muffins. Yum!

The other day I signed up for slidellra's DS/C6D Tag Game. There's already been a couple of fantastic posts from hyperfocused and scriggle. Can't wait to see what happens next!
