After staring at [livejournal.com profile] mergatrude's scrummy new Fraser icon for a ridiculous amount of time, I have decided that I wouldn't mind a pair of mittens like his for winter. You know, the type where the top flap folds back so your fingers are free when you need them. I'm sure I can find a pattern for them. I just have to summon up the energy to knit them.

* Internet dating.
* The re-emergence of the sun after today's rain.
* The inanity of Triple J's morning show since Wil and Adam left.
* Tim Tams.
* Going to gym as a result of the Tim Tams.

Could be worse. There could be an extra large packet of Tim Tams sitting near your office printer like there is near mine.

These convertible mittens seem to be very popular -- plus the pattern author uses the phrase "thumb crotch," which is just damn amusing.

I've been eyeing them myself, especially in recent chilliness :)

BTW, I bought a beautiful springform cake tin on the weekend. It has a lovely non-stick coating *g*

The morning show just hasn't gripped me at all. I'm trying out ABC-FM in the morning; the announcer is shit but he's so pretentious I'm motivated to get out of bed and smack him one.

Bring back Mikey Robbins if Adam and Wil refuse to come back or just anybody who can have a half-interesting conversation.

It's getting to the point where I'd rather listen to Magic 693 than put up with thier attempts to be funny any more.
