After staring at mergatrude's scrummy new Fraser icon for a ridiculous amount of time, I have decided that I wouldn't mind a pair of mittens like his for winter. You know, the type where the top flap folds back so your fingers are free when you need them. I'm sure I can find a pattern for them. I just have to summon up the energy to knit them.

These convertible mittens seem to be very popular -- plus the pattern author uses the phrase "thumb crotch," which is just damn amusing.

I've been eyeing them myself, especially in recent chilliness :)

The morning show just hasn't gripped me at all. I'm trying out ABC-FM in the morning; the announcer is shit but he's so pretentious I'm motivated to get out of bed and smack him one.

Bring back Mikey Robbins if Adam and Wil refuse to come back or just anybody who can have a half-interesting conversation.
