For better or for worse, the subject that ate my brain has finally come to an end. I now have my life back. No more coming home at night and slaving over a hot database book. I'm pretty certain I did kinda badly in the exam, but you know what? I really don't care. If I don't pass, there's other subjects I can do. Believe me, I've checked.

***

I'm going to buy the due South season three DVDs. Just see if I don't!

***

I think I had a fairly porny dream about CKR last night, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was about.

That'll learn me for watching the underpants scene in Dr Longball over and over.

***

Ferraro Rocher are the best choklits ever!

***

ETA: With all this talk from people who are buying permanent accounts, it's making me very jealous that, a) I can't afford $AU200.00 for one, and b) these people seem fairly certain that they're in this for the long haul. My worry is that if I do shell out for one, I'll get over after a while and there goes my $200 quid!

... next to Godiva.

Yay! for exams ending.

I just tried to clean my cooker and I think I shall never eat again. Or only raw or boiled things. *Sigh*

I don''t think we can get Godiva in Australia. At least not in regular shops. Probably in one of those places that specialises in imported treats, or the David Jones food hall. You can get pretty much anything in the David Jones food hall.

Errg, gungy cooker :~(

We inherited it, and it's horrid. Funnily enough, we inherited the one in TH too, and that was just as bad, I could never get it properly clean. Ick. Still, we survive. This one's worse in a way because it's new-ish, and the instruction book says DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT APPROVED CLEANERS, then doesn't tell you what they are - so I'm scared to use anything except soap and water, and you know how well that works. I'm quite tempted to get a professional cleaning company to come and do it. If I had any money ...

Yay for being free of the database book!

And I'd argue with that--there's better choklit out there, but Ferraro Rocher is pretty amazing, I admit.

I'm sure there is better choklit out there, but Ferraro Rocher and cake have pretty much kept me going for the past week so it has my unending love!

That would do it, then. And now I want good choklit, and all I have is some Hershey's Kisses somewhere in the cupboard.

I originally got my LJ to use as a journal--not for fannish stuff at all, really. So even if I dropped out of fandom, I'd probably still post. There'd just be less porn. Unless my personal life improves drastically. ;)

I was the other way round. I orginally came into lj for fandom's sake, and it's turned out to be more personal than fanish. Mind you, it's the longest I've ever kept any form of diary, so perhaps I am here to stay.

I had a journal on OpenDiary before they became a pay service, and it was 99% real life, 1% fandom (and that only in the last month or two that I had it). And (as is pretty obvious from, say, my last monster post) I still ramble an awful lot about RL. A *lot.* *g*

I vainly told myself I was just making sure my fic stayed around for posterity. };-) Of course, that excuse doesn't work for my regular journal -- yes, I am insane, and splurged on both -- but, hey.

I had similar thoughts myself, altough since I haven't been writing much at all lately it's more of a personal thing these days than fandom.

That's pretty much my feeling too.

Glad the database subject has stopped eating your brain! I don't know how you survived a subject like that. I went off IT the moment I started Info Techology in Libraries in my Grad Diploma!

I've pretty much gone off libraries all together lately.
