They Say What They Say

A merry time was had by all at out_there's last night. We ate pizza and cake and had shots of alcoholic beverages and squeed over various fandoms which included liberal doses of Sports Night. I failed at about 2.00am, but I did leave behind a hardy group of dedicated fangirls whose stamina was greater than mine.

But having borrowed my brother's car to go out last night, I'm now back to doing the will I/won't I thing over buying new car. I had the car for most of the day and was able to get some things done that I wouldn't have been able to do on my bike. Stuff like taking all my laundry to the laundromat to dry and picking up my new blanket and pillows from K-Mart. I mean I could have done those things on the bike, but it would have been a pain (especially since it's been raining for most of the day) and I wouldn't have been able to do it all at once like I did with the car.

Gah, I don't know. On the one hand it'd be really handy, but on the flip-side I don't like driving that much and with the price of petrol they're getting more and more expensive to run.

I'll think about it and see what happens.

Meanwhile, a more pressing need has arisen; I need new bed linen. ( cut for lengthy waffling about sheets and shoes )
