I had an extremely long day at work, even though I got in late because I missed the bus, ate junk food for lunch, didn't got to gym and got fish and chips for dinner because I couldn't be bothered cooking.

I'll be very glad when the weekend comes, although I have to zip up to the old home town to visit mum because she's poorly and my sister has been running herself a tad thin looking after her. I'm drive up on Saturday, cook up a storm on mum's crap stove*, do her grocery shopping and hang out with the niece and nephew.

Note to self: take camera with you because the only photos you have of Z are nearly 12 months old and she walks and talks and everything now!

Am very extremely jellus of all the people who have had a sneak peek at Supernatural via iTunes. And even more so that it will be nearly two weeks before I get to even glimpse it thanks to my inability to download stuff off the interwebs. I demand that Dean be delivered to me RIGHT NOW just to make up for it!

I've been watching Angel season two and, um, I'm finding it a little boring. Some of the episodes are quite good - Darla in particular was fantastic - but the rest... well, lets just say that I'm doing a lot of fast-forwarding :~\

I've signed up for the Sports Night Holiday Exchange. Have you?



*Seriously, the damn thing should have been replaced 20 years ago. Only two of the elements work properly, and last time I tried to cook anything on it, it gave me an electric shock. But mum argues that we won't be able to find a cook top big enough to fit the hole in the bench, whereas I reckon that if we shop around enough we will. But, you know, it's not my house and so what if the damn thing is crumbling around her ears and she'll soon be reduced to subsisting off instant noodles because she has nothing to cook on? She's the one who chooses to live there.
