I went out for dinner with A&O and had the most enormous chicken parmigiana with chips and salad. This on top of all the party food I ate at work today for cup day. I feel like baby elephant. Or a beached whale. Maybe both.
Date night tomorrow. Am a bit nervous, but he sent me a text at lunch time just to see how I was which was very sweet and it made me feel a whole lot less edgy. I haven't gotten new shoes, but I think I'm going semi-casual in jeans, a smock top and my vintage pink Fletcher Jones jacket. I'm going straight from work, but I'll take my make up with me and freshen up in the shower room before I wander over to the cinema.

I did bugger-all at work today. There wasn't much to do anyway because the rest of the city was enjoying a public holiday for Melbourne Cup day. Tomorrow, however, I am anticipating a flood of incoming requests and a veritable mountain of books to process.
