It's currently 40C so naturally I have spent the better part of the day making a new sundress. What else do you do when it's stinking hot?
Yesterday I ventured into the city, braving the post-Christmas sales, where I purchased a new bra for less that half price, some moisturizer, eye cream and a facial scrub and two pairs of shoes! I am now the proud owner of a very cute pair of silver heels with a diamante do-dad on the toe and a pair of mid-blue flats with peep toes and a bow.
New shoes! \o/
So of course I had to make a new dress and since the weather is predicted to stay hot for the next few days an extra sundress will not go astray.
I am just about to wander down to Station Street to get coffee and cake, but when I get back I am finishing my SN Holiday fic. I have been watching Sports Night all day to give me inspiration and when I get home I am going to work until I finish. Just see if I don't!
ETA: The fic is done and off to be betaed, while the cool change has finally come through and the temperature has dropped to the mid 20's as opposed to the 40C that it was before. Such a relief!
