I had a bit of a day yesterday; a day that involved broken fingernails, fillings, falling off my bike, mad conspiracy theorists from Chile and health insurance funds that refused to pay out. However I balanced it all with my Tribute to Johnny Johanssen and very yummy baked mushrooms for dinner. Also, don't knock the healing power of a Cadbury's Creme Egg and a large iced coffee.

Today I also had a bit of a day, but I also managed to tinker with my Johnny post to make it more presentable, be fairly effective at a meeting and go to gym after work - the first time I've been since my week off last week. I also made a reasonable interesting concoction out of pumpkin, leek and garlic for dinner and organised early drinks and dinner for my birthday on Friday.

I wasn't going to do anything much for my birthday this year, but all of a sudden I have at least two weeks of birthday related activities coming up. It's mostly due to the fact that to catch up with everyone I want to see, I have to spread it out over several days rather than concentrating it all into one big get-together. Not that I have anything against an elongated birthday, but I really was hoping to keep it all fairly low-key after last year's shebang :~\

Oh yay, Terminator II is on TV this weekend!
Mood:: 'sleepy' sleepy

I thought I'd caught up on my flist this morning, but clearly my mind is playing tricks on me because I don't remember reading half the posts I'm trawling through at the moment.

Meanwhile, found on friends of friends...

Think of a number…

Go on think of a number… (don’t forget it)

Double it.

Add 16

Half it.

Now, take away the first number you thought of…

And your answer it 8

No really, if you’ve done the math correctly then the answer is 8

Huh!
