They Say What They Say

So, I've been taking a bit a of a break from fandom. Not intentionally, it's just that last week I couldn't be bothered checking my flist one night and it flowed on from there. Next thing I know a whole week has passed and my fannish involvement has been next to nothing. I have been dipping in every now and then, but only on a random basis, so I've probably missed a whole slew of life changing events. However there's no way I'm going to have the time to catch up on more than a week's worth of entries, for which I aoplogise. Just know that I love you all and hope that you had/have great fun / offer hugs / totally agree with your outrage!

However a few of fabulous fanish things, most of them Supernatural realted, but a couple not, have brought me back:

♥ Firstly, the current season of SPN is suddenly being fast-tracked to Australian TV because apparently the new version of 90210 is a bit of a dog and the network is panicking about losing ratings against City Homicide. Their loss is my gain, woot!

♥ Secondly, the day after that was announced my SPN season three box set arrived so I now have more Sam 'n' Dean than I can possibly handle (if there realy is such a thing).

♥ Then there all the EyeCon reports of Jared talking about life with Jensen as his roomie. So much squee my tin hat is seriously in danger of corrosion!

♥ The Aussie version of Top Gear did not suck too much (despite a slightly uncomfortable appearance by Vince Colosimo) so I may yet watch it again.

♥ Jack and Ianto continue to warm the cockles of my heart ♥

♥ I'm still quite fascinated with Fringe, which is a good sign. Usually, if I can make it past the third episode a show is a goer for me. Tonight's the night with Fringe and I'm actually really looking forward to it.

♥ And finally, my new Sports Night box set has shipped and it should be in my hot little hands around the beginning of November. Dan! Casey! Commentaries! Special features! Squee!
