They Say What They Say

Huzzah, the money came through overnight so I'm just about to get dressed and zoom down to the bank to make a withdrawal. And get coffee because this is a very important occasion and coffee is essential.

When I told them at work that I was taking the morning off to wait for the bed they were all like, "Why don't you take the whole day off?" and for a moment I was sorely tempted, but I do have a fair bit to do and my Protestant work ethic got the better of me. Bugger.

ETA: The money has been got, coffee acquired and the old bed stripped. Now I'm waiting for the new bed to arrive and I'm good to go.

I had to move my room around a little to fit it in, and reposition the bed against the wall which was fun. My old bed was on casters. This one isn't.

Meh.

Anyway, now I'm thinking that I'd like to get a new bedside table because my old one doesn't quite go with the bed any more. Or maybe I'll just paint it a deep antique white gloss or something. I'll think about it anyway. However I can't wait to test out the new mattress tonight, and of course with all the extra room under the bed there's more space to store ( the important things in life: )
