They Say What They Say

This time last week it was pouring rain and freezing cold. I was wearing boots, a winter dress and cozy tights. I bought flannel pyjamas! Today I'm wearing a sundress and thongs (flip flops).

Of the \o/

- Had dinner with Best Work Friend and A&O last night. We went to Ladro for pizza and then to the bar formerly known and Yeltza¹ for drinks. Much pizza was eaten and much wine was consumed and all in all it was a wonderful evening.

- When I got home from dinner there was a birthday card from phoebesmum waiting for me in my letter box. It has shoes on it!

- I have a three day weekend, woot!

- I also have banananana muffins baking in the oven, woot!

- My favourite artisan bakery is opening a shop in Station street. Now I don't have to schlep all the way down to Alexandra Parade for the bestest hot cross buns in the world!

- There were two cute schoolboys busking in Station street this morning. I now have the theme from 'Spiderman' as played on the trumpet and euphonium stuck in my head *g*

- I found a copy of The Cutting Edge in Cash Converters for three dollars today. Toe pick, woot!

However, of the /o\

- I was seriously hung over when I got up this morning and have been walking around in a bit of a daze all day.

- I was going to see The Blow Waves with BWF tonight, but she cancelled on me at the last minute and no one else I know is going so I ended up staying home.

- It's supposed to rain tomorrow and I have all this laundry...

- I also have a blister on my foot :~(
