OMG, I have finally escaped the shackles of higher education until at least next March and have my life back!
*hugs life close to my bosom*
The exam went well. I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Although I nearly didn't get there because the traffic was so horrendous. Of course I probably shouldn't have taken Burke Road, but I'm not sure that going the other way would have been any better. And taking the train would have been worse because there was some kind of drama and the trains on the Frankston line were all cancelled.
So I got there with about two minutes to spare, threw the car into the first available car park, and ran for it. Some how I managed to avoid getting a parking ticket, and I even finished about half an hour early. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I'll assume it's good and deal with whatever may happen later.
I celebrated my freedom by going shopping, and you'll be so proud of me. I didn't buy shoes. I nearly did. I found these amazing red suede shoes and was on the verge of buying them, but sensibly decided that I would never wear them and that they would just sit in my wardrobe until I decided to get rid of them on eBay. Better to not buy them in the first place I think.
So, yes. Season four of due South has been ordered, vague thoughts about editing some of my old Sports Night stories and posting them to
snarchive have occurred, yoga class has been attended, and chocolate has been consumed.
What more could I ask for?
